Built in a gorge so access is from ground level and the front of the suite is on stilts ranging from two to six meters above ground, you will enjoy breath-taking views of the Karatara Gorge or the majestic Knysna Forest.

What We Offer
Elevated 6 meters above the forest floor rests the Deluxe Treetop Suite, The Eyrie.
A beautiful forest path leads you to this suite.
The Eyrie has a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, fridge, and 4 plate gas stovetop.
A large corner bath is the perfect place to relax and enjoy some bubbles and a magnificent forest view.
Stroll down to the forest floor and into Tranquillity.
Enveloped in indigenous forest, the first level offers you a forest view bathroom, open plan lounge, and dining area.
A large tented bedroom has a dreamy comfortable queen bed and air conditioner.
The private lookout deck is unique and is approx. 5 meters from the forest floors makes for perfect sundowners with a mountain range backdrop.
Slightly elevated off the forest floor, enjoy spectacular views of the Karatara Gorge through indigenous tree branches.
The sun filters through the lush forest along a winding path from the carport, giving you inner peace before you even arrive at the suite.
A large bedroom with a comfortable queen bed, gently wrapped in soft netting is finished in the colours of its namesake.

This suite is an ideal hideaway for romance.
Elevated three meters off the forest floor between the branches of the surrounding forest, Moon over Milkwood is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the most beautiful sunsets and views.
Named after the green lichen or Old Man’s Beard, this suite is elevated six meters above the ground.
Enjoy incredible views of the Outeniqua Mountain range and the forest gorge from the bedroom and bathroom.
The flagship suite of Teniqua Treetops was the first suite built. To avoid removing or damaging the majestic indigenous trees, we incorporated them into the design. The suite flows around the trees. The kitchen curves around one side of the deck. The bathroom opens onto the dense forest.
Relax on the deck and soak in the soft sounds of the vibrant forest. This is one of our most popular suites. Guests have said it’s like living in a Robinson Crusoe treehouse with the occasional Vervet monkey playing in the trees.

This suite has two large bedrooms, a shared bathroom and the company of the famed Knysna Turaco (Knysna Lourie) who regularly have one-on-one combat with the bedroom windows.
A beautiful glass stained door leads to the outside deck providing forever views of the Karatara Gorge and the forest.

Surrounded by towering Milkwoods and Yellowwoods, it offers an intimate and tranquil setting for your special day.
The centrepiece of this enchanting venue is the Forest Hollow, where you can exchange your vows amid nature’s beauty.
The reception area can currently hold a maximum of 30 guests and is adjacent to the bar.
Easy access to the kitchen ensures that we have a number of options for catering.
